Google Chrome becomes a threat to millions of devices

Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 have recently been deprecated, which means that users of those outdated operating systems will no longer receive critical security updates.
A new operating system is required to access the most recent updates in any system.
Last year, Google announced that the February release of Chrome would no longer support Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.
Chrome 110, the next version of Chrome, will only work on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
This makes it even more dangerous for anyone running Windows 7 or Windows 8.1.
The public will be able to purchase Chrome 110 on February 7th.

11.2 percent at risk on PC

According to Statcounter.com, by December 2022, 11.2 percent of PCs were still running Windows 7, and 2.6 percent were still running the less preferred Windows 8.1.
It serves as a wake-up call for them.
Let us tell you that it was released in October 2009 and October 2013.
If you’re still using one of these, you’re probably running an out-of-date system that can’t be upgraded to Windows 10 or Windows 11.
To be on the safe side, you’ll need to purchase a new PC.

Google says that older versions of Chrome will continue to function, but no further updates will be released to users of these operating systems.
If you’re still using Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1, we recommend upgrading to a supported Windows version to ensure you get the latest security updates and Chrome features.
