Many US lawmakers participated in this program.

The Hindu-American conference was organized to draw the attention of American law makers towards the problems of the Hindu community living in America. This conference was named American for Hindus. Dr. Romesh Japra, Founder and President of American4Hindus told that this is the first ever summit that we are organizing for political engagement. We have done very well in every field but politically we are far behind. We feel that Hindu Americans are being discriminated against.
