Increased DA effective from December 2022
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha tweeted that today we have increased DA/DR by 12% for state government employees and pensioners. With this, the share of DA in the salary of state employees has increased to 20%. The increased DA has become effective from December 2022. In this way, the increased DA will be included in the salary received on the new year. According to Saha, this announcement will benefit more than 1 lakh regular employees. Apart from this, 80,800 pensioners will also get the benefit of this relief.
DA increased by 4% in Meghalaya as well
The Meghalaya government has approved a 4 per cent increase in dearness allowance to state employees and pensioners. According to the information given by the government, this increase in dearness allowance will be effective from July 2022. From July 2022, the DA of Meghalaya employees has increased from 28 percent to 32 percent. In fact, earlier on September 29, the central government had approved to increase the dearness allowance by 4 per cent. Now DA at the rate of 38 per cent has started coming into the accounts of 50 lakh central employees and 62 lakh pensioners.
DA of central employees will increase in January
Looking at the AICPI figures, it is believed that once again in January 2023, the DA of central employees may increase. Central employees currently get 38 percent dearness allowance. Apart from the central government, many state governments have also increased dearness allowance. These include Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, UP, Karnataka, Punjab, Assam etc. Now the government of Meghalaya and Tripura has taken this decision.
